Tata Steel Colors Private Limited has introduced its Colorcoat range of pre-painted steel products in India, with manufacturing planned at its Jamshedpur facility.
The products are designed for roofing and wall cladding applications across industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects. According to the company, the range uses coating technology intended to improve resistance to corrosion, scratches and colour fading under Indian climatic conditions.
The products are intended for use in metro and transit infrastructure, ports, warehouses, manufacturing units, commercial buildings, defence installations and institutional projects.
The company said it would manufacture, distribute and market the products in India and overseas.
Speaking on the occasion, Praveen V Thampi, Managing Director of Tata Steel Colors, said the launch aimed to make advanced pre-painted steel solutions available to the domestic market.
