What begins as a routine pursuit of a breaking story soon turns into a fight for survival in “Reporting Live”, the upcoming Netflix thriller starring Parineeti Chopra and Deven Bhojani.

According to Netflix, Chopra plays Sandhya, an ambitious reporter determined to uncover a story that could make headlines, while Bhojani plays Vinod, her hesitant cameraman who is initially reluctant to take up the assignment.

Their investigation leads them to an illegal sand-mining racket operated by a ruthless syndicate. As the duo gets closer to the truth, their professional pursuit puts them in the crosshairs of a powerful network determined to protect its operations.

The threats soon extend beyond Sandhya and Vinod, putting their media organisation at risk and raising the stakes of their investigation.

As the journalists navigate growing danger, “Reporting Live” explores the risks involved in reporting on corruption and powerful criminal networks. The thriller brings together newsroom pressure, investigative journalism and survival, placing its protagonists in a battle between uncovering the truth and those determined to suppress it.

With Chopra leading the story as a determined reporter and Bhojani portraying her reluctant yet crucial partner, the film offers a tense take on journalism, courage and the cost of pursuing an uncomfortable story.
